Shiloh

Shiloh recently returned from foster care please read below what her foster had to say about her.

Shiloh came to my house when quarantine struck due to the wonderful people of Talbot Humane knowing that they would not have the man power to give her the attention she needed at the time. She was 15 years old, severely matted and underweight, and pretty unsocialized as well. Her matts were so bad she needed to be completely shaved (She got to rock an awesome mohawk for awhile though), and she wasn’t able to stand/walk properly because of the muscles in her back legs being constricted for so long. Poor girl was so disconnected when she got here, I hardly ever saw her face.. She kept it shoved into corners and cat beds for the first almost month.
After a few weeks of just hanging in the floor with her, talking to her, she started to lift her head up when I would walk in the room. Shortly after that I gained enough trust to scratch her head. Here we are, a few months later, and she jumps up and runs over everytime she sees me! She is quite the talker, she will tell stories as long as someone is willing to listen. Lol. Brushings are one of her favorite things! (You no longer need to listen close to hear her purr!! ?) She is back to a proper weight, and her hair is starting to look gorgeous these days! ?
Being an older lady, she is not interested in crazy late night lazer pointer parties. There is no jumping on counters/tables or scratching your furniture. At this point in life, she is simply looking for someone she can cuddle with, who will brush and love her while she naps in the sun. ?☀
