Capital Campaign Manager

  • Full-Time, Temporary | October 2025 – June 2027
    Salary: $70,000 – $85,000 annually, commensurate with experienceTalbot Humane, the leading animal welfare organization on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, is seeking an experienced Capital Campaign Manager to lead our $5 million campaign to build a new state-of-the-art shelter in Easton.

    The Campaign Manager will:

    • Develop and manage all aspects of the capital campaign strategy
    • Cultivate and solicit donors, corporations, and foundations
    • Oversee campaign communications, events, and grants
    • Support and coordinate board and volunteer campaign committees
    • Report regularly to leadership on campaign progress

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of nonprofit fundraising experience (capital campaign preferred)
    • Proven success in donor cultivation and solicitation
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
    • Familiarity with donor databases preferred

    This is a full-time, temporary position running from October 2025 through June 2027, with some evenings and weekends required. Local travel is expected.

Animal Control Team: 

Animal Control Officer- Level 1:  ACO-I-Job-description update6.23 

This position is responsible to enforce county animal control ordinances, state anti-cruelty laws, respond to complaints of animal control problems including stray, noisy or dangerous animals and complaints of cruelty and neglect on domestic animals.
Employees in this position require knowledge of animal control ordinances, the ability to investigate complaints to write clear concise and objective reports for supervisory review and for evidence in court cases and Animal Control Board hearings. General guidelines exist such as Animal Control Ordinances, standard operating procedures and policies. Judgment is used in negotiating with the public in hostile situations regarding the handling and treatment of animals.
