Kittens are kept in foster homes until they are big enough for adoption. That means that they are big enough for their first round of vaccines, using a litterbox, weaned, and no longer on any medication.

Once kittens meet those marks, they are available for foster-to-adopt. This allows adopters to take home kittens when they are still young, while Talbot Humane continues to provide medical care for the kittens until they are of age for their spay/neuter.
