Oliver came to the shelter when his owner moved into an assisted living home and was unable to take him with her. He was very used to his home with his person, and coming to the shelter has been a hard transition for him. After months of being here with us, Oliver has grown in some amazing ways, and lost in some others! He was very overweight when he came to the shelter, but now with a successful and healthy diet, he is trim and looking good!

Oliver is our longest resident. He doesn’t show well here at the shelter. He is temperamental, bossy, and wants his peace and quiet (something hard to come by at a shelter). He doesn’t seem to like other pets and would do best as the only one in the home. He probably can’t tolerate small children either.
