Saving Lives- A Community Meeting

November 14, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Easton, MD: Community Advocacy Meeting, November 14, 2013
Talbot County Community Center

The Humane Society of the United States and B-More Dog are joining with partners in several counties around the state including Talbot Humane to build a strong and united front for the next legislative session. The meetings will serve as an interactive forum to chart a path for how we can work together to establish a fair, breed-neutral dog bite liability law for Maryland. Please join us for our local meeting right here in Easton.

We will discuss the Tracey v. Solesky court ruling, how it affects Marylanders, and the difference between dangerous dog ordinances and dog bite liability. Most importantly, we’ll talk about ways you can work with lawmakers to reverse this decision. If you’re a dog owner, “pit bull” lover, or animal advocate, please attend this free meeting and find out what you can do to help. While this ruling targeted pit bull-type dogs, ALL dog owners will be impacted by this legislation in January.
